and welcome to the third installment of my lessons series breaking down how to play The Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." In today's session we'll move on to learning the rhythm guitar section including the chord progressions and strumming patterns for the verse and chorus sections. Use this tune to practice general rhythm technique, picking accuracy, and bar chord shapes. Let's get started!
Great to be back again for another " Favourite flavour on a Friday" and this week's choice is an absolute cracker from the late great George Harrison. George was a strong advocate of playing the Uke and spreading the Uke love. He is famous for saying " you can't play the Uke without a smile on your face " which is so true. Apparently he always had spair Ukes with him to give to friends for a jam sesh....marvellous and an inspiration to us all. We can only hope our cover does this iconic song justice and that you join in with us.
