Playing For Change - 3 Songs From Around The World

I love a good collaboration, and well here are three from Playing For Change that pull talents from all around the world.. Check these out:

Playing For Change

This song is featured on "PFC 3: Songs Around The World," purchase it here: http://bit.ly/PFC3SATW We started this performance with PFC Band members Titi Tsira and Clarence Bekker while on a trip together in Rio de Janeiro. Wherever we traveled we would add more musicians, strings in Serbia, guitar and bass in Chicago, pandeiro in Brazil and the final piece came together with Sara Bareilles' vocal performance at Washington Square Park in NYC. The message of this song is as strong as ever and it's up to us to make the change we want to see. Music can show us the way. “Colors” is a feel-good single from the Black Pumas, originally released on their self-titled debut album and nominated for two GRAMMYs. Slash, The Pocket Queen, Tony Kanal and more than 20 musicians and dancers from 10 countries accompany the Black Pumas in this Song Around The World version, featured at Peace Through Music: A Global Event for the Environment. “Colors” takes listeners on an emotional self-reflective journey that explores the beauty, diversity and unity in the world. “It was inspired by the rich multicolored hues of the sky and was written in the themes of mortality and togetherness.”-Adrian Quesada Join our sisters and brothers around the world and see the beauty in all colors! Join us along with 16 musicians from Hungary, Morocco, the USA, and more, for this global rendition of the #Nirvana classic "Come As You Are." Honoring 30 years since the release of Nirvana's album 'Nevermind,' witness the beauty and magic that's created when we unite. As the philosopher Aristotle said, "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts." Turn it up and embrace who you are, just as you are! Rest in peace #KurtCobain, your memory lives on through your music.
