Why was the music in 1983 so great?.. Well you're in luck because the Professor of Rock is going to break it down for you and this is definitely worth checking out... Let's get to it:
This 80s Top 10 Will Make You WONDER...WHAT the HELL Happened to GREAT Music? | Professor of Rock
Coming up, it’s the latest edition of our program the Hit Song Redux. In this show, we go behind the Top 10 songs from this very same week 40 years ago in September of 1983! But counting them down isn’t enough. After we reach #1, we re-rank them according to all-time streams and views… to see what the real #1 hit is. Today we’ve got a massive lineup in store, with some of the most iconic tracks the 80s have to offer. But who will claim the top spot? Could it be The Police, a Jim Steinman special, Maybe Def Leppard or ZZ Top or Bonnie Tyler, or even maybe a one-hit wonder, or the big movie soundtrack hit of that moment? Stick around to find out and make your guess in the comments. It’s all happening… NEXT on the Professor of Rock.
Todays song is Beautiful Crazy by Luke Combs. Luke Combs (Luke Albert Combs) is a solo country music singer-songwriter from Huntersville, North Carolina, not a band. His stage name is simply his real legal name. Long before he was selling out stadium tours, Combs grew up singing in school chorus classes and his church choir. His vocal talent was so apparent early on that his church choir ensemble actually traveled to New York to perform at Carnegie Hallwhile he was a kid.
This song was officially released as a single on December 3, 2018, though it first gained a massive underground following as a bonus track on the 2018 deluxe reissue of his debut studio album, This One's For You Too. Luke Combs co-wrote this tender, fiddle-driven country ballad about his then-girlfriend (and now wife), Nicole Hocking. The lyrics are a sweet, highly specific inventory of her unique habits, from starting her day with coffee and ending it with wine, to taking forever to get ready, to planning massive weekend outings only to change her mind and fall asleep on the couch.
"Beautiful Crazy" became a certified juggernaut, spending seven weeks at No. 1 on the country radio charts and winning Song of the Year at the 2019 CMA Awards. It has since achieved a rare RIAA Diamond Certification, denoting over 10 million units sold and streamed

Hello folks! This weeks video is a Luke Combs cover. I was asked to play this song, "Beautiful Crazy" at a wedding back in 2021 and I'm really getting into the country thing because of it. If you enjoy, please consider subscribing to my channel.
Thanks for watching :)
Here is my piano arrangement of Luke Combs' "Beautiful Crazy" especially designed for a wedding entrance. This one was created for Morgan and Andrew ❤️

Luke Combs has a voice that could melt chocolate so I could completely understand why Morgan wanted to walk down the aisle to this song ... and why brides-to-be often request his songs ... Morgan wanted a simple and elegant version for solo piano - featuring Pachelbel's "Canon in D" (well... in this case it's in B) as an intro. I really love helping to create the soundtrack for this magical moment in someone's life! It's such a privilege and I feel honoured every time I get asked!
