Lyrics born - Before and After
Way back in the early 2000's I worked in a coffee shop and used to talk music with my co-worker Oscar (Big-Moose). We would trade music (mixed MP3 burned on CD's) to expand each others musical awareness. He introduced me to the sounds of Eyedea, Lyric Born, Blackalicious, Black Star and many others.

Micheal Larsen was a freestyle battle rapping champion, a guitar player, a break dancer, lead singer of a punk band, a poet, a philosopher, and a supportive friend to many.
He passed away on October 16th, 2010.
We lost something very special and The World Has No Eyedea.
The World Has No Eyedea is an entirely crowd funded and independently produced, internationally acclaimed, award winning feature length documentary and web series, chronicling the life and death of underground hip-hop legend, and multi-genre indie music artist Micheal 'Eyedea' Larsen.
The World Has No Eyedea is an Official Selection of the 2016 Minneapolis/St. Paul International Film Festival, the 2016 NYC Hip Hop Film Festival, and the 2016 St. Cloud Film Festival. The World Has No Eyedea also won the Platinum Award from the Spotlight Documentary Film Awards, and has sold out indie theaters coast to coast in the United States and internationally.
Created by Brandon Crowson of Son Of A Crow Productions and co-produced by Eyedea's mother Kathy Averill of Crushkill Recordings, The World Has No Eyedea is available on DVD, iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, and Amazon Prime.
The DVD includes special features such as commentary on the film from Eyedea’s mother, Kathy Averill and Director Brandon Crowson. As well as interviews that were cut from the documentary. All DVD’s of The World Has No Eyedea will be coded as ‘Region 0’, making them playable anywhere in the world.
