I prefer to use a CAPO on the first fret to make this a bit easier (less BAR chords). Most of the verse is C and D (depending on how accurate you want to be there are other chords but this is a good start). I play a C and slide how 2 frets with that same shape to play the D while muting the first string with my thumb. Also I play the Chorus as Em, G, C, Am...
