Hey Nineteen - Steely Dan chords

Amendment to the video, at the end of the bridge the chord is not an Asus2, but is rather an inversion of a Gmaj7.

Hey Nineteen Steely Dan Lead Guitar Lesson + Tutorial

The guitar parts are Hey Nineteen from the superb Steely Dan album Gaucho are played by Walter Becker and Hugh McCracken. I'm pretty sure that Hugh McCracken is playing those cool verse comping lead parts and that Walter is playing those gorgeous chords in other parts, he could be playing the intro too.

The song has three main tonal centres, F#m is the intro/chorus, then it goes into D major for the verse (verse is D - D/F# - G - A) - going back to the chorus via this great chord run (Bm7 C#m7, Gmaj7, C#7#9), then in the middle 8 the key changes to Em (Em7 - Cm7 - Bbmaj9 - Asus11). Enjoy!

Pour Some Sugar On Me Guitar Lesson - Def Leppard

Click here for my Def Leppard playlist featuring ALL of my Def Leppard song lessons! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... Well I certainly don't have to introduce this one. "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard is perhaps THE quintessential 80's hair metal song. I would personally say that of all the bands of the 80's rock era, Def Leppard is probably my favorite. They just seemed to constantly come out with unique sounding songs that always sounded different yet always sounded like Def Leppard. When they released "Pour Some Sugar On Me" it catapulted the band to even higher popularity than their already massively successful career. "Pour Some Sugar On Me" is still a staple of rock radio today with it's inventive production and masterfully layered guitar sounds. In this Pour Some Sugar On Me guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play all of those guitar parts note-for-note quickly and easily. Learning how to play "Pour Some Sugar On Me" would help just about any guitarist who wants to learn how to create guitar parts that combine to create legendary riffs in an incredibly musical fashion. Guitarists Phil Collen and Steve Clark weave and impressive tapestry of understated yet memorable guitar lines throughout this classic 80's masterpiece. There is simply hook after hook to be heard. I will break each section down as they appeared on the original recording. I don't think there will be too much to keep most players from mastering this song pretty quickly so if you are an 80's rock music fan make sure you get it down right!
